Aaron Nelson Wing

Aaron Nelson Wing Bay City, Michigan Aaron passed away peacefully Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan with his family at his side. Age 56 years. The son of the late Harry and June (Randall) Wing was born July 29, 1959 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. He graduated in 1977 from John Glenn High School and continued on with his education at Delta College. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and retired from Delphi in Flint. He had a great love for golf and most of all he cherished the time he spent at Big Blue Lake with his family around the camp fires. On October 3, 1992 he married his wife of twenty three years the former Renee D. Meida in Messiah Lutheran Church and she is left to cherish his memories along with one son; Nicklaus Nelson Wing, his brothers and sisters and their spouses; Suzanne Haynes, Michael and Pam Wing, Kathryn Wing, Daniel and Judy Wing, Lizabeth and Stanley Fisher, Karen Hendricks, Harry and Cheryl Wing and Robert and Lori Wing, his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Martin and Nancy Meida, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Beverly Meida, Barb and Jerry Bunker and Melody Van Wagoner and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will take place Monday October 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will Be Rev. Daniel C. Meckes and Rev. Matthew A. Hall with private interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday to receive visitors from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Aaron will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial to the "Wishes of the Family" for a memorial in his memory to be established at a later time.
