Alan M. Nelson

Alan Michael 'Al' Nelson, of Bay City, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, age 31. He was born on May 25, 1982 in Bay City. Al was a welder by trade. He enjoyed skate boarding, snowboarding, R/C cars and loved to go fishing with his son and family. Al is survived by his fiancé, Shannon Jeske; his three children, Jeremiah & Kaitlyn Nesbaumer and Pierce Nelson; his mother, Judith Nelson; three brothers, David & Stefani Nelson of North Carolina, Tyler (fiancé, Angela Holmquist) Nelson of Lake Orion, MI and Robert Nelson of Bay City; grandparents, Norman & Berylynne Lesperance of Bay City; his uncle and aunts, Paul & Patti Lesperance, Renee Lesperance and Billie Jo Lesperance; and many cousins. Al was preceded in death by his biological mother, Alana Lesperance; and a sister, Kim Leslie Nelson. A Celebration of Al's Life will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor David S. Ferranti.
