OLDINSKI, Alan Francis Michael of Bay City, Michigan Alan Francis Michael Oldinski went to be with the Lord on Monday March 8, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Alan remained positive throughout his battle by providing inspiration to those around him. His sense of humor and upbeat personality will remain in our hearts forever. Age 56. He was born January 14, 1954 in Bay City. Alan attended St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and was formerly employed by Dow Plastic Lined Pipe. He enjoyed woodworking, NASCAR, cars especially Corvettes, boating, and camping in the mountains. Alan was a proud father and loved being with his children and family. Alan is survived by his three children, Carrie (Oldinski) & John Campbell of Midland, Keith & Dr. Rachael Oldinski of Seattle, WA and Mark Lukowski of Bay County; his grandson, Kyle; mother, Lucille Oldinski of Bay City; his sister, Marsha Oldinski of Sarasota, FL; his significant other, Marjorie McGill of Bay City; and he also leaves behind many special cousins, friends and family. Alan was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Oldinski. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday March 13, 2010 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church 1503 Kosciuszko Bay City. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. William J. Rutkowski with the Rite of Committal following in Calvary Mausoleum. Friends may greet the family at the church on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until time of service. There will be no visitation hours at the Gephart Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund of Bay County. gephartfuneralhome.com
