Alan B. Ruegsegger

Mr. Ruegsegger passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Karmanos Cancer Institute. Age 66 years. The son of the late Benjamin and Elaine (Schweitzer) Ruegsegger was born March 29, 1952 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Ruegsegger was the owner of J and L Transport Inc. and A.B. Compacting Inc. and enjoyed collecting classic cars. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. His strength, sense of humor and kindness will be cherished forever.

Mr. Ruegsegger is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jacqueline; three children Mark (Jennifer) Ruegsegger, Matthew (Keri) Ruegsegger and Sara (Josh) Werner; eight grandchildren, Laura, Kyle, Elaina, Alexis, Keagan, Brady, Annabelle and Gibson; one brother, Howard (Terrie) Ruegsegger; two sisters, Lynn (Ronald) McNally and Karen (Dennis) Jozwiak; two brothers-in-law, Charles Sheppard and Richard (Sally) Sheppard and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial cards for the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
