Albert "Al" Andrew Greniuk Sr.

Greniuk, Albert Andrew Sr. "Al" Standish, Michigan Mr. Greniuk passed away Thursday morning November 21, 2013 at his home at the age of 74 years. The son of the late Andrew Albert and Anastazia (Mizak) Greniuk was born January 8, 1939 in Standish and has resided there all of his life. He graduated from Standish High School and served with the United States Army. He devoted many years in a variety of marine and dredging construction projects, enjoyed spending time in his woods and on his farm. Al is survived by five children and their mother; Cynthia A. and Douglas J. Luczak, Kristal and John M. Wioncek, Cheryl L. and Alfredo M. Fuentes , Albert A. Greniuk Jr. and Carol E. Mcilwain, Holly J. Joshi and Judith (King) Greniuk, seven grandchildren; Katrina Wioncek, Matthew Luczak, Megan Luczak, Victor Fuentes, Elena Wioncek, Alfredo Fuentes, Christina Fuentes, one step grandchild; Tyler Mcilwain. He is also survived by three sisters; Mary Butch Jane Kotz and Teofila "Phyllis" Thorner, one brother; Mitchell Grinenk and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers-in-law; Albina and Walter Kotz, Stephen Butch, Frank Kotz and Donald Thorner Sr. and one sister-in-law; Phyllis Grinenk. Funeral Service will take place Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Devin S. Chisholm. The Committal Service and Military Honors will take place at Resurrection of the Lord Cemetery in Standish, MI. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of services.
