Albert J. Klemish Jr. "Al"

Mr. Klemish passed away early Friday morning, March 18, 2011 at Bay Medical Care Facility. The son of the late Albert and Alma (Husen) Klemish Sr. was born July 31, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a member and Past Master of Wenona Lodge #256 F. & A.M., Bay City Consistory, Elf Khurafeh Shrine Center and a 33rd Degree Master Mason. Mr. Klemish was also a member of the Muskrat Club, American Legion Post #18, a past member of the Elks Lodge #88 and Moose Lodge #169, served on the board Wanigas Credit Union and was a Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed doing woodworking and working with the Boy Scouts. Mr. Klemish served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife the former Beverly A. Rosebush whom he married June 20, 1959. He is also survived by his children: Pamela Klemish, Kenneth (Brigitte) Klemish, Michelle (Tony) Hunsberger and Michael Klemish, his grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Alexander Hunsberger, Tara Lynn (Chris) Lusko and Clarissa (Matt Doak), one great grandchild: Gannon Doak, his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Kathleen Rosebush, William Rosebush, Patricia and Patrick Daly, Colleen and John Palmer. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to Bay Medical Care Facility 1 East and 1 West and Heartland Hospice for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during his time of need. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Chaplin Lowell Gisel from Heartland Hospice followed by Military Honor's conducted by the U. S. Air Force with private interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Members of Wenona Lodge #256 will meet at the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. to conduct a Lodge of Sorrow. Memorial Cards for Heartland Hospice, Bay Medical Care Facility or Leader Dogs for the Blind will be available at the funeral home.
