Albin J. Reder

Albin J. Reder, of Bay City, passed away early Saturday morning, December 8, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. Albin was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Reder and was born October 14, 1924. He was a life-long farmer. After working ten years for Englehardt Construction, he took a position as maintenance supervisor for St. Vincent DePaul Church and retired after 32 years. On May 6, 1950, Albin married the former Dorothy Klosowski, who survives him along with his children, Sue and Lee Shinkel, Ken and Magaly Reder, Don Reder, Vicki Scheddel, Jane and Mark Grzegorczyk, John and Laurie Reder, Judy and Ken Kram, Mary and Chuck Baumer, Chuck and Marty Reder, Tim and Denee' Reder, Laurie and Bob Gunther and John and Tammy Penkala and close family friend Jolee, forty seven grandchildren and thirty nine great grandchildren. He is predeceased by a son, Robert Reder, daughter, Elizabeth Penkala, son-in-law, Gary Scheddel , granddaughter, Bethany Reder and five brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church from 9:00am till 11:00am with the funeral mass immediately following. Reverend Robert Meisner will be officiating at the funeral mass with the Rite of Committal following in St. Anthony Cemetery. www.gephartfuneralhome .
