Alfred F. Cosbitt

Mr. Alfred F. Cosbitt, of Bay City, our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on May 2, 2015 at his residence. He was born to the late Frank and Delia (LaCross) Cosbitt on February 12, 1917 in Alpena, MI. Alfred was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Irene Putzig, in 2010. He retired as Vice President of Habitant Fence Company.
Surviving is his daughter, Candace (James) Tacey; granddaughters, Stacie (Alan) Story and Kristie (Mark) Schmidt; and great-grandsons, Benjamin and Andrew Story, Connor and Carter Schmidt. Alfred was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and William.
The Funeral and Committal Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. John W. Wernecke. Private interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
