Alice passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Plainview Assisted Living with her family by her side at the age of 92. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on October 30, 1930 to the late Jacob and Rose (Helminiak) Jankowiak. Alice was a life long member of St. Hedwig's Church and Corpus Christi Parish. She was a dedicated member of the Kiesel's Pearls, Felician Sisters, Daughters of Isabella, League of Catholic Men & Women, Rosary Sodality (Altar) and on the pastoral team at Covenant Healthcare as a Eucharistic Minister. Alice enjoyed gardening, doing arts and crafts and was committed to her family and to her service to others.
Alice is survived by her four children, Tom (Patricia) Anderson, Barb Rechsteiner, Bob (Lisa) Anderson and Paula Anderson; grandchildren, Jason Fallon (Aaron), Shaun (Bianca) Rechsteiner, Michael McMann, Michael Espejo, Claudia (Timmy) Rupeiks, Alexandra Espejo; great grandchildren, Pandora Rechsteiner, Alice Rechsteiner, Ezra Wiles and Oliver Wiles, Chase Rechsteiner, Alex McMann, Madeline McMann, Emaline McMann, Emaline McMann, Mollie McMann, Valentina Rupeiks and Matias Rupeiks. Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Eldon A. Anderson; sister, Virginia Jankowiak, brothers, Leo Jankowiak and Walt Jankowiak; son-in-laws, Mark Rechsteiner, Brian Anderson and many brother and sister-in-laws.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church. Private interment will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. A vigil for the deceased will take place on February 8, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. Alice will lie in state at the church on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to Corpus Christi Parish.
