Alta J. Jane

Alta passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 86 years. The daughter of the late William and Edith (Bousinger) Reist was born June 24, 1928 in North Star, MI. She retired from Graphic Metal. Alta enjoyed bowling. Left behind to cherish her memory is her son and daughter-in-law; Rodney and Kelly Jane, her grandchildren; Marie Jane, Dylan Jane, Amanda Quintel, Valerie Jane and Lyndsay Jane and their mother; Jan, one sister; Greta Earegood and one sister-in-law; Marcia Reist. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one son; Greg Jane, one brother; Bob Reist and one sister; Vera Reist. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, June 5, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private burial in North Star Cemetery, North Star, MI. The family will be present at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time services to receive family and friends.
