Alyce S. LaFear

Mrs. LaFear passed away Saturday morning, February 28, 2015 at Willow Brook Adult Foster Care in Scottville, MI. Age 96 years. The daughter of the late William and Anna (Kiah) Nemode was born September 29, 1918 in Bay City, MI. She attended Auburn United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children; Judith (Donald Kempf, Marilyn Warren, Linda (Charles) Bennettt, her grandchildren; Douglas (Lisa) Kempf, Jennifer Warren, Christopher (Lynne) Bennett, Gregory (Tracy) Bennett, Amy (Chris) Morley, her great grandchildren; Taylor and Carly Bennett, Garrett, Evan and Sophia Bennett, Brody Morley. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Theodore C. LaFear, one granddaughter, Kimberly Kempf, her sisters; Lelah Nemode and Esther Chase, her brothers; Vernon, Edward, Ernest and Martin Nemode. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Auburn United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Lawson Crane with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
