Ann Bernadette Seemann died suddenly on Thursday July 29, 2010, age 82. The daughter of the late Felix & Sabina Adamczyk, she was born August 19, 1927 in Bay City. Ann was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, their Altar Sodality and the League of Catholic Women & Men. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and a big supporter of St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Ann married Frederick Carl Seemann on June 22, 1957 in Visitation Catholic Church and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1995. Ann was previously employed at Defoe Ship Building, the Bay County Courthouse, Bay City Lumber and retired as manager of the Carters Clothing Stores in Saginaw and Essexville. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Ann is survived by her two daughters, Sue & Jeff VanEvery of Bay City and Shelley & Steve Soltysiak of Statesville, NC; five grandchildren, Adam VanEvery (Lauren Pray) of Evergreen Park, IL, Amber & Adam Sexton of Louisville, KY, Rebecca, Rachel and Matthew Soltysiak of Statesville, NC; one sister, Cecilia Romzick of Bay City; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry & Jo Seemann of Saginaw; and several special nieces, nephews and friends. Ann was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ferdinand Adamczyk and his wife Myrtle, Joseph Adamczyk and his wife Marie, John Adamczyk of his wife Gladys; a sister, Mary Duletzke and her husband Frederick; an infant brother, Raymond; a brother-in-law, Dr. James Romzick; and mother-in-law, Catherine Seemann. Ann was very classy lady, a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, a doting grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00am on Monday August 2, 2010 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 2956 E. North Union Rd. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Meissner with the Rite of Committal following in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00pm and Sunday from 1:00 to 9:00pm. The Vigil for the Deceased will be on Sunday at 7:00pm. Mrs. Seemann will lie instate at the church on Monday from 9:00am until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
