Anna Marie Libera

Mrs. Libera passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side. Age 86 years. The daughter of the late Edward and Lucy Jane (Williams) Robinson was born January 16, 1930 in Arenac County, MI. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the League of Catholic Men and Women. She worked at Mercy Hospital in the Laundry Dept. and at Czuba's Variety Store. She enjoyed shopping and watching the birds. Left behind to cherish her memories are her husband of 68 ½ years, John E. Libera whom she married May 29, 1948; her children, Joe (Linda) Libera of Levering, MI, Carol (Larry Dufresne of Essexville, MI; her grandchildren, Tammy Doner, Bridget Barber (Larry), Beau (Annie) Libera, Jill (Travis) Hoffman, Jennifer (Allen) Atkari, Lisa (Jim) Runberg, Becky (Eric) Johnson; her great grandchildren, Courtney Dufresne, Alana and Breanna Doner, Emmett and Ethan Barber, Joe and Jon Libera, Kylie and Logan Kaczmarek, Sophia and Wyatt Hoffman, Jace and Dane Johnson, Katie and Kyle Jankens, Chris and Amy Runberg, her great great grandchildren, Lorin Runberg, Keagan Diebold, Deklan Jankens, Gabe Davis, Mika and Malcolm Bennett; two sisters, Pauline Caverly and Gloria Marquardt; her brother , Dave (Donna) Robinson; her sisters-in-law Stella Robinson and Florence Brozewski; three special nieces, Charlotte, Norma and Doris. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kelly Dufresne; her grandson, Jim Kaczmarek; two brothers, Albert (Margaret) Robinson; Floyd (Bud) Robinson; three sisters, Eileen (Ed) Kocot, Dorothy Robinson and Flossie Berry; her brothers- in-law, Alex Caverly, Dean Berry and Alvin Marquardt. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to McLaren Hospice especially Ben and Chris and the entire team for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during her time of need. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish- Holy Trinity Church 1000 S. Wenona Bay City, Michigan 48706. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Klem with the Rite of Committal following in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Libera will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
