Anthony F. Kocinski, loving partner of Linda Engelhardt, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Brian's House, Essexville at the age of 65 years. Tony fought a courageous battle with colon cancer with help from many family members and friends. He was born on July 29, 1954 in Saginaw to the late Anthony F. and Arvilla (Couitcher) Kocinski. Tony attended services at Corpus Christi Parish and worked and retired from Saginaw Steering Gear/Delphi in 2002 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Local 699. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, traveling, collecting different types of memorabilia, gardening and working outside. Tony was a self-taught musician playing many different instruments and singing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, children and grandchildren. Tony especially loved life, family dinners on Sunday and attending every event for his grandchildren, and all family celebrations.
Tony is survived by his loving partner, Linda Engelhardt; loving children and grandchildren, Jason and wife Trisha and their daughter, Delilah and Lindsay and husband Jeremy Jones and their daughters, Lilyanna and Aubrianna; mother of his children, Brenda Kocinski; his sister, Wendy and husband Jeff Dietrich and their sons, Brandon and Brian; his niece, Stephanie Smith. Anthony also leaves behind Linda's family, Ken Born, Gloria Rose and daughters, Angela, Olivia and her son, Oliver; nephews, Wade (Mckenzie) and Garrett Engelhardt and his daughter, Evie and their mother, Debbie Finkbeiner; many loving friends including, Paul and Mary Reed, Becky and Gary Shannon (Kennedy), Larry and Judy Coder and Pam and C.J. Montana. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Duve and Linda's sisters, Carla and Cynthia Engelhardt.
At the request of Tony, cremation has taken place, a memorial mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Corpus Christi Parish. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church.
