Ardythe Ann Arnold

Ardythe passed away, Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Brian’s House with her family by her side at the age of 77. She was born March 11, 1948 to the late Arthur and Loretta (Smart) Streu in Bay City, Michigan. Ardythe was the owner of Gift Box and was very dedicated to her family and her business endeavors. It was important for her to balance her business spirit while being the best stay-at-home-mom. Ardythe was very devoted to her faith. She enjoyed working in her yard, cooking, she had a knack for decorating and being able to create an atmosphere that made people feel comfortable and at home at all times. Ardythe loved spending time with her family, she was the glue for the family and deeply valued family connections and cherished the little moments that brought everyone together.

Ardythe is survived by her children, Matthew (Amy) Arnold, Kristina (Matthew Paul) Arnold, and Steve (Lindsay and her children) Arnold; grandchildren, Chase (Maddalynn) Arnold, Caden Arnold, Baylee Arnold, and Lukas Arnold; brother, Allan “Albie” Streu; sister-in-law, Carol Johnson; niece, Diane Webb and her children, Rachel Webb and Reagan Webb. In addition to her parents, Ardythe is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Arnold.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Brian’s House and the staff at Advisacare Hospice for the outstanding care they provided Ardythe.

A private service will take place for Ardythe. Private Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to Brian’s House.
