Arlene Mae Casey of Bay City Michigan formerly of Huntington Woods, Michigan passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the age of 85 years. She was born on September 26, 1934 in Coulterville, Illinois to the late Claude and Edith (Benjamin) Casey. Arlene graduated from Highland Park High School and Highland Park Junior College. She worked as a secretary for the Detroit Council of Camp Fire Girls, the Shaw Walker Office Furniture Company and the Discount Office Equipment Company. She retired in 2002 and moved to Bay City Michigan.
Arlene was a loving, caring, generous person. She cared for both her father and mother until they passed away in 1987 and 2001. Arlene enjoyed traveling, going to the theater and watching sports on television (especially any Michigan professional or collegiate team). Her favorite pastime was knitting, always making an item for someone, and trying new patterns. She loved her tablet for watching movies and ordering from Amazon. If anyone needed anything, she very generously made sure they got it. She deeply loved her family and was always concerned about them, wanting to do whatever she could for them.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, sister Glenda Vandemark of Bay City, Michigan, brother Larry (Janet) Casey of Troy, Michigan, nephews Michael (Connie) Vandemark of Holland, Michigan, Scott (Connie) Vandemark of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan , Colin (fiancé Lori Barbera) Casey of Farmington Hills, Michigan, niece Kristin (Dennis) Sexton of Mount Pleasant, Michigan and great niece Casey Sexton. Also surviving are her special caregivers and many friends.
