Arthur W. Kuehnemund

Arthur passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Hope Health Care Service in Cape Coral, FL. Age 87 years. The son of the late William and Frieda (Uebrroth) Kuehnemund was born July 29, 1929 in Bay County, Michigan. For over three decades Arthur worked as a farmer in the state of Michigan. He retired from Lee County Parks and Recreation in Florida and for many years he worked as a Produce Vendor and he worked that job up until 5 weeks ago. He enjoyed playing cards, especially pinochle and euchre and in his younger years he was avid bowler. Left to cherish his memories are three sons and one daughter-in-law, Alan Kuehnemund, Kenneth Kuehnemund, Den (Bonnie) Kuehnemund; one stepson and two step daughters-in-law, Richard and Joann Alwardt and Beulah Alwardt; his grandchildren, Anson, Jared, Eric, DeWayne, Chad, Benjamin, Carrie and Jon; twelve great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; one sister Charlotte Johnson and Arthur's longtime business partner, Barbie. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Betty (Felske) Kuehnemund and his second wife, Beverly Martin-Kuehnemund; one daughter-in-law, Joyce Kuehnemund; one grandson, Matthew Kuehnemund; his stepson, Frank Alwardt; his sisters and brother, Eleanor, Dorothy, Mildred, Arlene and Vaughn. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
