LUSSIER, Arthur Henry Joseph of Rhodes, Michigan. The son of the late Henry Joseph and Irene (Thibeault) Lussier passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 22, 2010 at his residence, age 73 years. He was born February 28, 1937 in Flint, Michigan. Mr. Lussier was retired as a pilot and owned and operated a Flying School in Flint. He was a member of the Michigan Parachute Team of Saginaw, was a Charter Member of the Last Barnstormers and he flew freight transport in Africa and Ecuador. Arthur served in the United States Army and was a member of the 82nd Airborne Association. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Les Lightwine of Springfield, MO; one son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Rebecca Lussier of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren: Patrick and Gavin Lightwine and Ethan Lussier; one step grandchild, Jacob Hudson; his brothers and sisters: Hank and Barb Lussier, Mike and Roseanne Lussier, Anna Marie and Frank Andrykovich, Raymond and Susan Lussier and Lois Lussier; many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will take place Friday, March 26, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. 201 W. Midland St. Bay City, MI 48706. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Dale A. Orlik with interment following in the Veterans Section of Oak Ridge Cemetery under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council.
