Audrey G. Gladen (Shephard) passed away on Monday, June 08, 2020. She was born to Bradley and Gladys (Wagar) Shephard on March 12, 1927 in Bay City and was married for 61 years to Carl F. Gladen who predeceased her in 2010. Audrey was a dance teacher for Theatrical Arts Guild and was part of a troupe that entertained throughout Michigan for many years. In 1951 Carl and Audrey co-founded Gladen Enterprises, Inc. from which she retired in 1973. She was an accomplished artist and member of Valley Aero Club, Studio 23, Bay Arts Council, Bay County Historical Society and was a life member of the Saginaw Bay Yacht Club.
Audrey is survived by her brother, Alwyn (Viola) Shephard of Bay City; granddaughter, Lisa (Fred) Moye of Lansing; several special nieces and nephews and many other great nieces and great nephews who knew and loved her also. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Norman, John (Linda) and Glenn (Jan) Shephard and her sisters, Madeline (Kenneth) Carey and Vivian (John) Radigan and her special nieces, Andrea (Howard) Fischer and Mary Sue (Mike Hale) Radigan
Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Corpus Christi Parish. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm with private entombment following in St. Patrick Mausoleum. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Corpus Christi Parish.
