Audrey M. Stagray

Stagray, Audrey M. Bay City, Michigan Audrey passed away peacefully Thursday May 30, 2013 at Caretel Inns of Bay City with her loving family at her side. Age 59 years. She was born September 12, 1953 in Pigeon, Michigan. Audrey was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust, enjoyed knitting, quilting and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She was employed at Euclid Industries, graduated from Delta College and had a great value for continuing on with her education and encouraging others to as well. On October 20, 1973 she married her husband Eugene J. "Gene" Stagray in St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith and he survives her passing along with one son and daughter-in-law; David and Ayron Stagray of Kalamazoo, one daughter and son-in-law; Karen and Eric Lemmer of Essexville, three grandchildren; Samuel, Lucy and Olivia, her mother; Vera Menzel of Bay Port, two sisters and two brothers-in-law; and one brother and two sisters-in-law; Harriet and Jim Bruce, Glen and Gail Menzel and Dorothy Deming all of Bay Port, Duane and Mary Stagray of Linwood and several nieces, nephews and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Menzel and one sister-in-law; Elizabeth Stagray The family would like to extend a special thank you to Audrey's friends and co-workers at Euclid Industries for the loving care and kindness they extended to her during her illness and over the years. Funeral Services will take place Sunday June 2, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen E. Schilke with private Inurnment in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Saturday from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mrs. Stagray will be taken to the church on Sunday to lie in state from 2:00 p.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for St. Paul Lutheran Church Memorial Fund will be available at the funeral home.
