Augustina (Amador) Escamilla

Escamilla, Augustina (Amador) Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Escamilla passed away early Wednesday morning December 19, 2012 at Covenant Cooper in Saginaw, Michigan with her family at her side. Age 89 years. She was born April 14, 1923 in Veracruz, Mexico. She was a member of In his Presence Ministries in Bay City. She enjoyed cooking and most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by fifteen children; Juanita Escamilla, Martha Paiz, Frank Escamilla, Maria Aldaoud, Juanita "Jane" Miller, Augustina Arroyo, Ben Escamilla, Victoria Garcia, Bobby Escamilla, Joe Escamilla, Tony Escamilla, Larry Escamilla, Gloria Willis, Suzie Woods and George Escamilla, one hundred twenty grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesus Escamilla, three children; Robert Escamilla, Jessie Escamilla and Eva Stewart and one great grandchild; Faith Goss. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at In His Presence Ministries (4521 Monitor Rd. Bay City, MI 48706) . Officiating will be Pastor Michael B. Baranek and Pastor Rueben Garcia with interment following in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Following the visitation at 8:00 p.m. family and friends are invited to Pray the Rosary with the family at the funeral home. Mrs. Escamilla will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 1:00 p.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for The Good Fellows or the Salvation Army will be available at the funeral home.
