Barb passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at her residence with her family by her side, at the age of 84. She was born January 23, 1938 in Bay City, Michigan. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church. Barb graduated from T.L. Handy High School. She retired in 1994 from Bay Medical Center as a Lab Technician. She enjoyed shopping, her collectables and going to her beautician to get her hair styled.
Left to cherish her memories are two sons, Victor (Angelia) Campau and David Campau; her grandson, Sean Paul Campau; four step grandchildren; three sisters, Marcia Baker, Patricia Pearson, and Michelle Boyd and numerous, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor L. Campau whom she married October 19, 1963 and he passed away June 1, 2016 and her mother, Elizabeth (Rapps) Reinhardt; one sister, Julie Taylor and one brother, Stanley Michael Pearson II. The family would like to extend a thank you to McLaren Hospice for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during her time of need.
A Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish-Holy Trinity Church. Officiating will be Fr. Robert J. Kelm with inurnment following in Floral Gardens Mausoleum. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Liturgy. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Wishes of the Family.
