Barbara Lucile (Lichtenfelt) Dowson

Dowson, Barbara (Lichtenfelt) Bay City, Michigan Barb Lichtenfelt Dowson, age 99, a longtime resident of Mt. Pleasant, MI passed away at the Carriage House in Bay City on November 11, 2016. Barb was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Lichtenfelt, her son-in-law, Thomas P. Orr, grandson, Richard Thomas Orr, and her second husband, John Dowson. She is survived by her two daughters, Trudy Orr Karst (Timothy) of Bay City and Terry Lichtenfelt (Neal Roehm) of Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Barb is also survived by her grandson, Robert Orr (Barbie) and great grandchildren, Camden, Grayson, and Ashlyn of New Lothrop, MI, grandsons, Jesse Roehm and Casey Roehm, step grandson, Brandon Karst (Elizabeth) and great grandchildren, Hudson, Aida, and Izabelle of Saginaw, step grandchildren, Elena DeYoung (Tony) and their children Oliver and Gus of Wyoming, MI. In accordance with Barb's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial is scheduled. Per the family's wishes, memorials may be made to The Carriage House of Bay City Activity Fund or to Messiah Lutheran Church in Bay City.
