Barbara J. Gavord

Mrs. Barbara J. Gavord passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Huron Woods Nursing Center. Age 85 years. The daughter of the late Henry and Grace Gynac was born November 22, 1934 in Gladwin, Michigan. Barbara resided in Florida for 15 years and enjoyed bingo, playing cards, fishing, camping, trips to the casino and traveling.
Barbara Gavord is survived by her two sons, John (Terri) Nephew Jr. and Michael (Joyce) Nephew; one step daughter, Debra Cameron; two step sons, James Gavord Jr. and Todd (Tracy) Gavord and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, James R. Gavord; one brother, Robert (Angie) Sigafose and one sister, Florence (Jim) Wagener.
Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. * Due to the Executive Order issued by the Governor we have to limit the gathering to 10 people or less at one time * Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
