Benjamin J. Frost

Ben passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center at the age of 82. The son of the late Lyle and Helen (Kellerman) Frost was born February 5, 1942 in Bay City, Michigan. Ben served his country in the U.S. Army field artillery division. He was a graduate of CMU where he received his bachelor’s degree in education, worked for General Motors for 15 years and went on to be the owner of Phoenix Products from 1980 to 2010. After his retirement he enjoyed driving for the VA and going to the casino.

Ben is survived by his children, David (Angela) Frost and Laura Frost; grandchildren Justin Frost, Tatum Hantla, Aralyn Hantla and Parker Frost; great grandchild, Cora View; sister, Mary (John) Towlerton and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Frost and his granddaughter, Kyla Frost.

A memorial visitation will take place from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
