Benjamin R. Lauria Jr.

Lauria, Benjamin R. Jr. Linwood, Michigan Ben passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center in Midland. He was born May 8, 1944. Ben retired from Buick Motor Division in Flint, MI. He was known as "The other Egg Man" and was an avid Detroit Tiger Fan. He is survived by his children; Benjamin R. (Danielle) Lauria III, Cindy Haswell, Lisa (Doug) Jammer, Gerald (Lisa) Lauria, Tina (Dan) Vermeesch, his mother; Wilson Lauria, his mother-in-law; Lillian Holland, twenty one grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, his sisters and brothers; Shirley Lauria, Fred Lauria, Linda Younce, Billie Kerneen, Ronald Lauria, Marilyn Roeder and Tom Lauria. He was preceded in death by his father; Benjamin R. Lauria Sr., his wife; Marcia M. Lauria and his son-in-law; Dana Haswell. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Carol M. Blair-Bouse with cremation following. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
