Bernadine Deford

Deford, Bernadine Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Deford passed away late Saturday evening, September 27, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region with her loving family at her side. Age 85 years. The daughter of the late Ignatius and Constance Warszawski was born May 27, 1929 in Bay City. She enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband; Earl Deford whom she married September 6, 1951, her children and their spouses; Michael and Rose Ann Deford, Steven and Theresa Deford, Timothy and Susan Deford, Dennis and Susann Deford, Gregory Deford, Janet and Victor Matuszewski and Carol Blossey, twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Edward Warszawski, Evelyn Walat, Floyd Warszawski, Mary Ribble, Rose Nelson and Daniel Warszawski. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Kevin N. Kerbawy with cremation following. The family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
