Bernice R. Legacy

Legacy, Bernice R. Bay City, Michigan Ms. Legacy passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 93 years. The daughter of the late George and Florence (Springer) Legacy was born July 19, 1918 in Bay City, Michigan. Bernice was a member of Visitation Catholic Church and the Little Flower Society. Bernice is survived by one brother, Frank Legacy; one sister, Nina Lopez; one son Timothy LaVigne and his wife Linda; two grandsons, David LaVigne and Michael LaVigne and his wife Amanda; three great grandsons, Brendan, Connor and Evan; one great granddaughter, Megan and her special niece, Patricia Hartley and her husband Michael. In addition to her parents Bernice was also preceded in death by three brothers, Chuck, Clifford and Edward and one sister, Elizabeth. Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Fr. George J. Serour with private interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for the American Heart Association will be available at the funeral home.
