Bernice H. Moore

Mrs. Moore passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 86 years. The daughter of the late Alvin and Frances (Asakevich) Piotrowski was born September 11, 1930 in Bay City. She was a master quilter and designer of quilts, enjoyed doing needlepoint, sewing, gardening and bingo. Left behind to cherish her memories are her husband of sixty six years whom she married June 24, 1950; her children, Leona (Thomas) Burnham, Ken (Estella) Moore, Cynde (Gerard) Paveglio, Tim (Ann) Moore; Randall (Alicia) Moore, Beverly (Cristopher) Moore-Kruzel; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Irene Powell, Eleanor Martin, Roy (Janice) Piotrowski, Orville (Dorothy) Piotrowski and Charles (Jeanne) Piotrowski. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Piotrowski. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday, October 9, 2016 to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place Monday. October 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Wishes of the Family.
