Betty Jane Baeckl

Baeckl, Betty Jane Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Baeckl passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 at Sheffield Bay. Age 90 years. Mrs. Baeckl was born February 21, 1921 in Flint, Michigan. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and was a volunteer at Bay Regional Medical Center for more than ten years. Mrs. Baeckl is survived by one son, Mike (Kathryn) Baeckl; one daughter, Doralyn (Michael) Grusecki; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Kuske, Trent Baeckl, Amanda (William) Parish, Aaron Grusecki and Samantha Grusecki; three great grandchildren, Rea Jane, Tyler and Siri Kuske; one special friend, Norine Fritz. Mrs. Baeckl was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Matthew Baeckl and one grandson, Adam Baeckl. At the request of Mrs. Baeckl cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Gephart Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Schramm with private inurnment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. and until the time of services.
