Betty J. Braendle

Betty J. Braendle passed away late Thursday evening, February 22, 2018 at the Toni and Trish House at the age of 86 years. Betty was born on January 19, 1932 in Carson City, Michigan to the late Grant and Louise (Clements) Johnson. She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church for many years and loved and enjoyed her family and friends.
Betty is survived by daughter, Sandra "Sam" Braendle of Bay City; son, Michael "Mike" and Stephanie Braendle of West Branch; grandchildren, Andrea Birmingham, Matt Birmingham and their daughter, Lyla; Chad and Stephanie Staskiewicz and their sons, Elijah and Conner; Nathan and Jessica Braendle; and Jonathan "Jon" and Jade Braendle and their daughters, Finley and Freya; sister-in-law, Elna Johnson; special friends, Shirley and Leo Grocholski, Barb and Marv Ramseyer and Ginny LaMere. In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, David L. Braendle and daughter, Debra S. Staskiewicz.
Funeral and committal service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Evangelical Free Church. Officiating will be Pastor Greg Langley with private interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Braendle will be taken to the church to lie in state on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
