Mrs. Herbolsheimer passed away early Thursday, morning, April 15, 2010 at Bay Regional Medical Center, age 79 years. The daughter of the late Emil and Helen Nuffer was born December 12, 1930 in Saginaw County. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith and the Ladies Aid. She was a volunteer for Southern Care, enjoyed sewing and made things for several area hospitals and nursing homes and sewed clothing she made for Haiti. She also enjoyed making crafts and gardening. She is survived by her children: Karen (David) Dyjak, Jerry Herbolsheimer all of Bay City, Kathy (Wes) Hupfer of Freeland and David (Bonnie) Herbolsheimer of Bay City; her grandchildren: Holly (Matt) Crews, Amy (Matt) Wazny, Melanie Dyjak, Tracy Horne, Tony, Kelly, Kristin and Nicole Hupfer, Joshua and Sara Herbolsheimer; her great grandchildren: Katherine and Charlotte Wazny and Khloe Grahm; her sister, Ruth (Harry) Behmlander; her brothers: Roy (Betty) Nuffer, John (Louise) Nuffer, Carl (Betty) Nuffer; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clinton J. Herbolsheimer; her sisters, Edna (Les) Peasley and Flora Nuffer and her granddaughter, Jennifer Herbolsheimer. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church of Amelith. Officiating will be Rev. Stephen P. Starke with interment following in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mrs. Herbolsheimer will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
