Betty M. Laskey (Knopp)

Mrs. Laskey passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Toni and Trish House. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late Howard and Rose (Zimmer) Jones was born June 3, 1925 in Farmington, Michigan. Mrs. Laskey attended Our Savior Lutheran Church in Zephyrhills, Florida where she lived until 2016 before moving back to Bay City where she attends Faith Lutheran Church. Mrs. Laskey enjoyed camping, bowling, reading, snowmobiling and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Laskey is survived by one daughter, Rosalie (Ken) Graves; three grandchildren, Kim (Peter) Champagne, Lisa Graves and Scott (Tera) Graves; eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one special niece, Nena Bossbach and her children, Brad, Brandi and Cody; one sister, Wilma Patton and one brother, Wayne Jones. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her first husband, William R. Knopp; second husband, Chester F. Laskey; three brothers and two sisters.

At the request of Mrs. Laskey cremation has taken place and a memorial service is being planned for a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Toni and Trish House or Faith Lutheran Church.
