HEBERLEIN, Beulah A. of Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Heberlein passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Carriage House Nursing Home, age 93 years. The daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Marshall) Brooks was born March 3, 1916 in Clare, MI. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was very involved and sang in the choir. Beulah was active member and contributor of the Women's Bible Study Group. For many years she had season tickets along with her friends for the Midland Center for the Arts music series and for the Bay City Players. Beulah also enjoyed her monthly bridge club. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Mary Louise and Larry Cross of Sterling Heights, Richard Brooks and Lynn Heberlein of Ann Arbor, David Bruce Heberlein of East Lansing and Joel Mark and Jo Lyn Heberlein of Chicago, IL., her grandchildren; (Deana) Brian Fisher, Matthew (Yolanda) Cross, Andrea (Captain Dirk serving with the U.S. Army) Cross-Isrow, Sarah Heberlein, Rebecca (Scott) Heberlein-Rolins, Paul Heberlein, Jeremy (Michelle) Heberlein, Ethan Moes and Kristin Hendersen; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Madeline Birkmier; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Brooks. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Karl Heberlein and one son, Paul Jerold Heberlein. Funeral and Committal took place Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 12:00 o'clock Noon at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Officiating was Rev. Matthew Schramm with cremation following. Friends called at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday Mrs. Heberlein was taken to the church on Wednesday to lie in state until the time of services.
