Beverly K. Pike

Mrs. Pike passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 62 years. The daughter of the late James and Midred (Harrington) Parker Sr. was born June 26, 1948 in Bay City, MI. She was a member of Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene and the Evangelical Free Church of Bay City. She enjoyed scrap booking, gardening, attending craft shows and shopping. She is survived by her husband Russell C. Pike whom she married January 25, 1969. Also surviving are her children and their spouses: Bryan and Ann Pike of Bay City, Daniel and Kamie Pike of Vassar, Tammy and Michael Salchert, her grandchildren; DeMarcus, Brennan, Brianna, Kaylee and Brooklyn, her sisters and brothers: Connie Johnson of Bay City, James (Carlene) Parker Jr. of Hudsonville, MI. and Julie (Jerry) Kelcherman of Bay City, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister: Linda Bartkowiak. Funeral Services will take place Monday, January 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene (1815 Tittabawasse Rd. Saginaw, MI). Officiating will be Rev. Larry Pike with interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mrs. Pike will be taken to the church on Monday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial cards for Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene or Visiting Nurse Services of Michigan will be available at the funeral home.
