Beverly B. Reif

Mrs. Reif passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Sheffield Bay Assisted Living. Age 89 years. The daughter of the late Carl and Beatrice (Roby) Nelson was born December 17, 1928 in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Reif was retired from Bay Medical Center as Vice President and was an active member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church, she was the recipient of the Princess Wenona Award, active with the Michigan Nurses Association and the American Hospital Administrators. Mrs. Reif also enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and her dogs.

Mrs. Reif is survived by her three children, Kimberly (Thomas) Heltzel, Dana Pope and Tamara (Drew) Patterson; six grandchildren, Traci (William) Morris, Kevin Heltzel and his fiancee Abree, Eric Pope, Kelsey Pope, Ross Patterson and Claire Patterson; one great grandson, Bryson Morris; two sisters, Elaine (Donald) Bender and JoAnn Nelson and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. George G. Reif; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Muriel Reif and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Leonard Holmes.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Officiating will be Rev. Andreas H. Teich. Private inurnment will take place in St. Alban's Episcopal Church Columbarium. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for St. Alban's Episcopal Church will be available at the funeral home.
