Blanche Wieland

Wieland, Blanche of Bay City, Michigan passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2011 at Brian's House. Age 87 years. She was born July 21, 1924 in Bay City, Michigan and has resided here all of her life. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church for over fifty years and was formerly employed at Ford's Clothing Store for many years as a bookkeeper. She is survived by her caregivers; Floyd Knochel of Kawkawlin, Alvina Wackerle of Bay City and Maureen and Robert Weiss of Kawkawlin, many cousins, friends and her church family. Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; Daniel and Gladys (Popp) Wieland, one infant brother, aunts, uncles and her caregiver; Marian Knochel. Funeral Services will take place Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church. Officiating will be the Clergy of the Church with interment following in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.. She will be taken to the church on Friday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service.
