Bobby G. Hulon passed away on Sunday, July 9th, 2023 at the age of 74. He celebrated his freedom birthday five days prior and was surrounded by loving family at the time of his passing.
Bobby was born on July 4th, 1949 to the late Ruby Rose Duncan and William Howard Hulon in McKinney, Texas. He proudly served his country as an aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971. He was the youngest bomber crew chief of a B52 aircraft at Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Oscoda, Michigan. This is where he met his wife of 52 years, Barbara Anne Hulon. 7 years after marriage they had first daughter, Erica Brady, and second daughter Nicole Baird 4 years following. He is survived by loving wife; both daughters; sons-in-law, Travis Brady and Rick Baird; grandkids, Kelsey, Dylan, Domanic “DJ”, Ashlynn, and Cole; along with nephew David Wayne Hulon, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents; two brothers, Wayne and Jimmy Ray, and sister, Diane.
A celebration of life will be held for Bobby G. Hulon on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home in Bay City, Michigan. Military Honors will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. by the Bay County Veterans Society and the U.S. Air Force. The family will be present to receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Toni and Trish house, whom provided exceptional care in his last days.
Bobby will be greatly missed by many. “Aim High. Fly, Fight, Win.”
