Bonnie L. (Burnside) Bedell

Mrs. Bedell passed away unexpectedly, Monday, February 15, 2016 McLaren Bay Region. Age 83 years. The daughter of the late Theodore and Cecelia (Sutter) Burnside was born April 25, 1932 in Bay City, MI. She was a member of Kawkawlin Community Church. Mrs. Bedell had a great love for her family especially her grandchildren, enjoyed going to the casino and was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Detroit Tigers. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of sixty three years John R. "Jack" Bedell and they were married November 29, 1952; her children, Connor J. Bedell formerly Pamela S. Bedell and Brian (Shawn) Bedell; her loving grandchildren, Adrienne and Lillienne Bedell and Brayden Brooks, one aunt, Velma Sutter; her special friends, Nancy Bahm; Sue Ackerman and Anita McMurray. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, June Davidson. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to Dr. S. Manawar, Bay Special Care Nurses, and the Nurses in I.C.U. at McLaren Bay Region for the kind and compassionate care our loved one received during her time of need. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Kawkawlin Community Church. Officiating will be Rev. David L. Dunn with private interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. to receive family and friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mrs. Bedell will lie in state at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
