Brandyn passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Ascension St. John's Hospital in Detroit at the age of 29 years. He was born June 5, 1990 in Bay City, Michigan. Brandyn enjoyed spending time with his daughter and also enjoyed playing XBox, hunting and fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Since Brandyn's work accident he and his family have received overwhelming support from his co-workers at Pyramid Paving, and the staff of Ascension St. John's Hospital where Brandyn and his family spent a lot of time.
Left behind to cherish his memories are his daughter, Khloe Spychalski; mother, Leslie (Michael) Fonzi-Lynch; his father, Francis (Lisa) Spychalski Jr.; his brother, Todd Spychalski; sister, Alaxzandria (Jacob) Klein; a nephew who is expected in February 2020; his half-brother, Nathaniel Swiatowy, his grandmothers, Nancy Fonzi and Donna (Paul) Barber; his girlfriend, Olivia Drew; his uncles and aunts, Frank (Patsy) Fonzi, Christina (Lonnie "Brice") McRorey, David (Diane) Fonzi, Glenn (Bobbi) Fonzi, Dawn Spychalski and Michelle Williams and many cousins he was very close with. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frank Fonzi and Francis Spychalski Sr. and his cousin Tony Fonzi.
Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson followed by a time of sharing by family and friends. Interment will take place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin. The family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
