Brenda S. Wegener

Brenda S. Wegener, of Bay City, passed away Sunday evening October 27, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region, age 56. She was born December 15, 1956 in Bay City. The love of Brenda's life was her grandchildren and spending time with them was more important than anything. She was an avid Tiger's fan and enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. Brenda was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #443 in Sanford. On March 15, 1975 Brenda married Daniel J. Wegener and he survives her passing along with her son, Branden J. (Donna) Wegener of Bay City; her two beloved grandchildren, Damien and Breanna; her mother, Nancy Lewis of Auburn; her father and step-mother, Robert (Darlene) Feinauer of Sanford; two sisters, Bonnie (Jack) Greenleaf of Auburn and Ericka (Doug) Horning of Maryland; two brothers, Robert (Kristy) Feinauer of Auburn and Bill (Lisa) Feinauer of Saginaw; her mother-in-law, Shirley Wegener of Auburn; three sisters-in-law, Sherry (Ken) Smith of Midland, LuAnn Wegener of Auburn and Linda (Dan) Haven of British Columbia; and several nieces & nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey J. Wegener; her step-father, Leonard B. Lewis; and her father-in-law, John Wegener. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Leslie D. Tyvela. Private interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
