Brian Joseph Schwerin

Schwerin, Brian Joseph Bay City, Michigan Brian Schwerin passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor at the age of 54 years. Brian was born September 27, 1962 in Bay City, Michigan. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army. Brian worked as a truck driver for Northern Concrete for 26 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and playing Farkle. Brian is survived by his wife, Darlene Marie Schwerin whom he married on July 19, 2008; four children, Tiffani Schwerin, Danielle Schwerin, Heather Schwerin and Brandee Schwerin; three step children, Nicholas (Christy) Pratt, Toni Marie (Scott) Kinney and Shevelle Pratt; parents, Walter E. and Jacquelyne (Tryban) Schwerin; ten siblings, Sabrina Schwerin, Tina (Tom) Wojda, Malinda Schwerin, Tammy Schwerin, Michelle (Mike) Sequin, Mark Schwerin, Jeff Schwerin, Scott (Jamie) Schwerin, Kyle (Tam) Schwerin and Vanessa Schwerin; twelve grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. At the request of Brian cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell followed by military honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
