Candace L. Martin

Candace passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Hampton Nursing and Rehab at the age of 75. The daughter of the late Cloris and Beverly (Yahn) Martin was born July 20, 1948 in Bay City, Michigan. Candace worked as an International Children’s Librarian and was active in her church, she enjoyed knitting, reading, working with children’s camps for reading and traveling and working around the world.

Candace is survived by her brothers and sisters, Randolph (Rochelle) Martin, Bethany Ann (Bruce Radford) Martin and Jennifer Sue Martin; nephew, Tristan (Cala) Martin; niece, Laura (Kevin) Day and six great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Nancy Mathew with inurnment following in St. Alban’s Church Columbarium. Visitation will take place at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial cards for St. Alban’s Episcopal Church will be available at the church.
