Carey Jane Moore

Moore, Carey Jane Bay City, Michigan Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 64 years. The daughter of the late Burrell Ainsley and Jane Yvonne (Copp) Mills was born August 25, 1950 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Carey was employed as the Assistive Technology Teacher Consultant for the Saginaw ISD and was a board member for the Shelter Angels Inc. She was an avid reader and enjoyed jewelry, antiques, art and family genealogy but most of all spending time with her family especially her granddaughter, Jordan. Carey is survived by one son, Cameron (Julie) Moore; one daughter, Maura Moore and her significant other, Jeremy Mauch; one granddaughter, Jordan Moore; one sister, Ellen Villa and her partner, Ellen Polzien; one brother, Terry Mills and many nieces, nephews and cherished friends. In addition to her parents, Carey was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Moore; one son, Andrew L. Moore; two sisters, Sherry Mills and Helen Mills and one niece, Lisa Memro. At the request of Carey cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc., Officiating will be Ellen Polzien. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. and until the time of services.
