Carl E. Mathey "Flower"

Carl passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side at the age of 68 years. Carl was born on March 25, 1951 to the late Raymond and Margaret (Bruske) Mathey. He worked many years in construction and enjoyed his Corvette and animals including his two cats. Most of all he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Carl is survived by his life partner, Marcia Klei; sisters, Patricia Boggs, Jacqueline Mathey, June (Butch) Dean, Deborah (Dave) Howard, Diane Wojciechowski and Janet (Bob Gross) Gary; brothers, Kenneth (Sandy) Mathey and Danny (Diane) Mathey; nephew, Larry (April) Boggs; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Tom Super and Dan Wojciechowski.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Chris Radcliffe with interment in Westside Cemetery, Freeland. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
