Carla L. Christie

Carla passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 67 years while together with her husband holding his hand. She was born in Pontiac on November 26, 1952 to the late Stanley and Charlotte (Malek) Sitkowski. On April 20, 1974 she married her high school sweetheart and they were married for 46 years. Carla was the wife of a founding member of the Wooden Bullet Hunting and Fishing Club. She worked for many years as a paralegal. In her spare time she enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casino and spending time with her grandchildren. Carla was a very artistic person and enjoyed painting.
Carla is survived by her son, Ryan (Karrie) Christie; daughter, Ashley (Derek) Miller; grandchildren, Madelyn Christie, Landon Miller and Bryce Miller; twin brother, Craig Sitkowski; sister, Debbie Grundner; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Patricia Sitkowski and Carol Christie; brothers-in-law, Roger (Diane) and Mark (Patti) Christie; special friends, Szczepanski family, Kloska family and the Norling family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Dave Sitkowski; sister-in-law, Judy Sitkowski and brother-in-law, John Grundner.
