Carlyn Marie Brinkman

Carlyn passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Bay County Medical Care Facility at the age of 75 years. She was born in Bay City on February 10, 1945 to the late Stephen and Evelyn (Suppes) Murphy. On May 13, 1967 she married Larry Brinkman and were together for 53 years. Carlyn worked for the Bay City Public Schools for 25 years and in her spare time she enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with family.
Carlyn is survived by her husband, Larry; sons, Larry Jr. (Tammy) and Daniel (Kelly) Brinkman; grandchildren, Jacob and Jacqueline Brinkman; brothers, Gerald (Joyce) Murphy and Danny Mathey; sister, Tootie Pavlawk and many nieces and nephews.
Private funeral service will be held at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Kevin C. Jones with private interment in Elm Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. Visitation times are subject to the Covid-19 guidelines of 10 people or less in the chapel at one time.
