Carmen Esther Schoeppach

Mrs. Schoeppach passed away early Tuesday morning, June 28, 2016 at Shields Comfort Care Assisted Living with her family by her side. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late William and Mary Louise (Vantine) Mitchell as born June 4, 1924 in Genesee County MI. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Schoeppach worked for many years at the former Robert Hall Department Store in Bay City. She served in the Canadian Women's Army Corp Band. Mrs. Schoeppach enjoyed playing the harmonica, had a great love for music, enjoyed reading and crocheting. She will be forever remembered by her husband, Lloyd R. Schoeppach whom she married December 15, 1949; her children, Karen Schoeppach; Mary (John) Wenz; Bethney (Bryan) Rudick; Sue (Amado) Arceo III; her grandchildren, Brent (Heather) Wenz; Brian (Andria) Wenz; Jason Lynch; Brandon Rudick; Courtney Rudick; Amado (Rachele) Arceo IV and Marc (Maria) Arceo; twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one granddaughter; DeLynn Lynch and four siblings. At the request of Mrs. Schoeppach cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday July 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Linda Williams. The family will be present at the Gephart funeral Home, Inc. on Friday July 1, 2016 to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
