Carol I. (Rochefort) Klawinski

Mrs. Klawinski passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab with her family by her side. Age 87 years. The daughter of the late Avery and Irma (Babcock) Rochefort was born November 28, 1927 in Bad Axe, MI. She retired from Prestolite Corporation. Mrs. Klawinski was a member of the Red Hat Society, an auxiliary member of the V.F.W. and the V.F.W. Cooties in Florida; she resided in Florida for many years and returned back to live in Bay City in 2004 and she enjoyed watching Detroit Tigers Baseball. Left behind to cherish her memories are her children; Linda (Gary) Burns, Terry (special friend; Vici Fetter) Watkins, Greg (Gina) Watkins, Andrea Klawinski, Pauline (Rick) Dishaw, Robert (Mitzy) Klawinski, Larry (Karen) Klawinski, Rich(Judy) Klawinski, Kathy (Eric) Strain and David Klawinski, fifteen grandchildren, two brothers; Donald Rochefort and Jack (Jean) Rochefort. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; Donald Klawinski, one sister; Florence Black, two brothers: Donald Rochefort and Lyle Rochefort, two sisters-in-law; Jean Rochefort and Eva Rochefort. At the request of Mrs. Klawinski cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Friday June 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private inurnment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.
