Carol J. Sharp

Sharp, Carol J. Midland, Michigan Mrs. Carol J. Sharp, of Midland, passed away Wednesday morning, April 5, 2017 at the Pinecrest Farms A.F.C. in Midland, age 80. The daughter of the late John and Annetta (Snyder) Engelhardt, she was born on July 8, 1936 in Willard. Carol worked as a cashier at K-Mart for many years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bay City, Michigan. Carol enjoyed her cats, coloring books, card bingo, euchre, reading mysteries and Detroit Tigers baseball. Besides her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by her husband, George F. Sharp; a son, David Sharp; and several dear sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She is survived by a son, Ronald (Karen) Sharp; her brother, LeRoy (Bonnie) Engelhardt; a brother-in-law, Ronald Trezona; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Leroy R. Westphal. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Pinecrest Farms A.F.C.
